The process, step by step
1. Criteria. You tell us what product you want to buy, with which specifications, volume, certifications required in your market and budget. If you already have a supplier in mind, we start there.
2. Shortlist. We identify candidate factories and rule out those that do not fit on capacity, specialisation or documentation. You get a compared shortlist to decide which ones to audit.
3. On-site audit. Inspectors we work with in China visit the plant with our checklist and document what they see, with photos and evidence.
4. Documented validation. We review the report, verify certifications and background and give you a clear conclusion: go ahead, go ahead with conditions, or rule out.
5. Pre-shipment inspection. Once the order is produced and before you pay the balance, the goods are inspected against what was agreed. If something is wrong, you find out while you can still negotiate.
What the factory audit checks
- Legal registration: business licence, authorised scope and whether the company is a manufacturer or a middleman.
- Facilities and capacity: production lines, machinery, staff and real capacity against your volume.
- Quality system: incoming material control, in-process checks and final inspection.
- Certifications: that the ones claimed exist, are valid and cover the product you are buying.
- Experience and background: company history, export markets and warning signs.
- General plant conditions, with photographic evidence in the report.
What the pre-shipment inspection checks
- Quantity produced against the order.
- Packaging, labelling and marking as agreed.
- Appearance and workmanship: visible defects against the specification.
- Measurements and functional checks defined in the checklist.
- Sampling based on AQL tables (ISO 2859-1), at levels agreed with you.
When to use each service
- Supplier verification (from €350.00): you already have a supplier and want a first document check before going further.
- On-site factory audit (from €690.00*): before the first significant order or when changing supplier.
- Pre-shipment inspection (from €390.00*): on every order, before paying the balance.
- Factory search (from €1,500.00 or 3–8% commission): you have no supplier or want to compare alternatives.
- Monthly follow-up fee (from €600.00/mo): you buy regularly and want ongoing quality control.
What we don’t do
We do not resell goods or take a margin on them: you negotiate with and pay the factory directly. Nor do we calculate import costs or quote freight; your freight forwarder or customs broker handles that, and we can coordinate with them. The specific requirements depend on your case: we review them with the specialists we work with.

How do I know if it is a factory or a trading company?
The document check reviews the business licence and authorised scope; the on-site audit confirms whether there are production lines of its own. If it is a middleman, we tell you before you pay.
Who visits the factory?
Inspectors we work with in China, on site, following our checklist. We review their report and give you the conclusion, with photos and evidence.
When should the pre-shipment inspection take place?
Usually when production is finished and packed, or nearly so, and before you pay the balance. That way, if something is wrong, you can still demand it is put right.
Do you calculate import costs or freight?
No. We do not quote freight or calculate import costs; your freight forwarder or customs broker handles that. We focus on the factory and the quality of the product.
What does the price of an audit or inspection include?
A 4-hour day on site with a daily report. Travel, accommodation and meals are invoiced separately, at cost, and prices are plus VAT.
